Drug Information for Health Professionals
The NLM Drug Information Portal gives users a gateway to selected drug information, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine and other key U.S. Government agencies. This particular link is tailored to health professionals. Resources include the NLM search systems useful in searching for a drug, NLM research resources, resources organized by audience and class, and other NIH and government resources such as FDA and CDC.
PubMed offers free, online access to the National Institute of Medicine’s MEDLINE databases. The site provides access to citations and abstracts from biomedical literature. If a publisher has a web site that offers full-text of its journals, PubMed provides links to that site as well as biological resources, consumer health information, research tools, and more. While there are some free full-text articles available, many publishers charge a fee for access to full-text.
National Guideline Clearinghouse

The NGC mission is to provide physicians, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals and providers, detailed information on clinical practice guidelines and to further their dissemination, implementation and use.
