The Foundation Center
Provides databases of information on the more than 95,000 foundations, corporate donors, and grantmaking public charities in the U.S. 

The Grantsmanship Center
A database of local Funding Sources includes top grantmaking foundations and community foundations by state.

Institute of Museum and Library Services
Search for grants by name, institution type or project type and learn about the application process.

National Library of Medicine (NLM)
Check with your regional medical library to find out when the National Library of Medicine is offering monies for consumer health projects.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM)
Contact the NNLM Network Office in your area for samples of successful proposals, review of proposals before they go to NLM, letters of support for NLM grant applications, and training support for awarded projects.
